What we do?
Jotters is an agency which offers academic support to students with disabilities in higher education. Our services are predominantly note taking in lectures, seminars and tutorials. However we do also offer services such as time management, proof reading, reading onto audio tapes, Library Assistance and Mind Mapping. We provide support in the Leicester area and have provided support for students studying at both De Montfort University and University of Leicester.
Who can access our service?
If you are a prospective student or current student in the Leicestershire area, and have had a needs assessment which allows you non-medical support in the form of a note taker, you can recieve funding via your Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) for the services we offer. However, it is good practice to request a note taker via the University's student support team who deal with students with disabilities.
